Breakfast of Champions

We really have enjoyed our first season at the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market. Both Tammye and I have made quite a few new friends just counting the vendors we buy from weekly. The customer support has been absolutely amazing. Every Saturday from mid-April through November 19th only missing a few weeks due to harvest closures. The local community has discovered our “Beaufort Briny” oyster. Its kind of tough for me to ask someone at 9am on Saturday if they would like to try a raw oyster with their coffee. I usually wait until around 9:30 before offering free samples. More than once I have shucked a dozen for a customer before 10am, breakfast of champions? All the hard work I put into growing/crafting theses oysters is worth it, seeing the reaction after someone eats one raw. There is one more market this year on Saturday December 17th from 4-8pm. The Olde Fashioned Holiday Market is supposed to be really cool. This will be the first of many for us here at Roysters NC. We are so grateful for all of our new and returning customers at the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market.
